The Role
We are looking for Senior and Intermediate to join our Business Services team, where you will report directly to the Manager and the Partners. You will have exposure to a range of tax advice and compliance matters as well as direct client contact.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, activity statements, FBT returns for all entity types including SMSF.
- Ability to understand key concepts in Australian taxation law and accounting standard.
- Taking personal responsibility of the work and building rapport with the clients and the team
- Be involved in stimulating work that will further develop your technical knowledge and expertise
Your Background
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Business Services and tax advisory professionals with:
- 3-5 years of experience in a professional firm
- Experience in preparation of financial accounts and tax returns for all entities.
- Fundamental understanding of the Australian taxation and accounting environment, and ability to research on these matters.
- Ability to supervise junior and intermediate team members
- Proficiency in Office 365, Xero and other Cloud-based programs
- Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Great attention to detail
- Proven ability to work and contribute to a team will be key in being the successful candidate.
- Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions
- Renumeration will be based on level of experience.
