In this unique opportunity, Mount Isa Mines will invest in your education and career development by sponsoring your enrolment in an Associate Degree in Engineering and providing training in essential software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: Develop detailed drawings, plans, and schematics for various mining and processing projects.
- Education Sponsorship: Enroll in and successfully complete an Associate Degree in Engineering, sponsored by Mount Isa Mines.
- Training: Participate in training programs for essential software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD to enhance drafting skills.
- Collaboration: Work closely with experienced drafters, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient drafting outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all drafted documents adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Project Support: Provide assistance to project teams during the drafting phase, meeting timelines and maintaining quality.
- Problem Solving: Collaborate with the team to identify and address any technical issues or challenges that may arise during the drafting process.
- Eligibility for Education Sponsorship: Demonstrated ability and commitment to enrol in and successfully complete an Associate Degree in Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of drafting or a strong interest in pursuing a drafting career. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey technical information.
- Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
