Capital Works – Project Support Officer

Manages project documentation, coordinates teams, undertakes procurements, and provides administrative support.

HorizonOne Recruitment has a steady flow of Capital Works – Project Support Officer roles available. These roles range from large commercial companies through to federal government APS opportunities. We work with and support candidates wanting to transition from one sector to the other.

The Project Support Officer performs project management and support activities to support the Capital Works team and contribute to the delivery of a range of projects. 

• Provide a range of project management support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, maintaining project documentation and monitoring project plans
• Coordinate working groups and consultants in the exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
• Prepare and undertake secretariat duties, on behalf of the Capital Works Team, including agendas, minutes, presentations and reports
• Undertake simple to complex procurements inline with the guidelines 

To be successful in these roles you will need to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities and provide a broad range of project management support services. 

• Strong project management abilities, including planning, organising and monitoring project progress
• Clear and concise communication with stakeholders
• Effective timing management, including meeting tight deadlines
• Understanding and executing procurement processes
• Decision making and problem solving

$85k – $110k + Superannuation
