About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened up to join our expanding team as a Full Time Care Organiser primarily based in our Castlemaine office. The primary purpose of the position is to support the effective delivery of Uniting AgeWell Home Care programs.
The role may see you:
- Participate in the orientation of Home Care Workers and Activity Workers, as required
- Assist with interviews, complete reference checks and induct new staff members.
- To ensure appropriate rostering of Home Care Workers and Activity Workers (as required) to meet client service needs
- To assist in the supervision of Home Care Workers and Activity Workers (where required)
- To coordinate and undertake annual performance appraisals for Home Care Workers and Activity Workers, as necessary
- To facilitate staff attendance for in-service training
- To maintain up to date staff records, timesheets and rosters
- Customer service, be the key contact for client enquiries / complaints both by phone and in person
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and/or their carers to ensure care needs are being provided
- Be responsible for administrative duties including records management, monthly reporting and document control
- Service Coordination, monitor and manage group email inboxes, liaising with external service providers
- Provide day to day support of home care workers and document phone calls and/or communication relating to scheduling and service provisions.

To be successful in this position you will have:
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Previous administrative experience in in-home support services, staff induction, orientation and rostering/scheduling
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast paced environment
- A reliable, adaptable, motivated and committed attitude to providing quality support
- Experience within the aged care sector (desirable)
- A desire to thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
- A committed attitude to being part of a workplace culture based on the BEST way of life (Believe, Excel, Support and Trust)
