We are seeking Care Support Workers on both a permanent part-time and casual basis who are committed to providing a high standard of quality care in our supported accommodation.
Situated next to beautiful parkland and a picturesque lake, our Treendale Gardens facility offers 24-hour onsite care consisting of high care accommodation for permanent residents, a residential respite facility with 6 individual rooms, and a three-bedroom self-contained family unit.
The following shifts are examples of what may be available in the morning, afternoon, evening, nights as well as sleep shifts:
Morning Shifts
6:30am – 2:30pm
7:15am – 3:30pm
7:15am – 2:00pm
8:00am - 1:00pm
Afternoon
3:15pm – 10:20pm
2:30pm – 9:45pm
3:15pm – 8:00pm
5:00pm – 9:00pm
Awake night shift
9:45pm – 7:30am (may be available after probation is completed)
Sleep shifts
10:30pm – 6:30am
Please note, if you are successful in securing a position with us, you may need to commit to our full two-week (paid) foundation skills training, where you will learn all key aspects of the role and be offered buddy shifts.
How you can make a difference every day:
Providing personal care (e.g., showering and dressing) to promote health and well-being.
Medication administration & assistance.
Meal preparation, cleaning, cooking, shopping, and other household duties (the small stuff makes a huge difference!)
Supporting social access such as taking clients to appointments and helping them pursue social/leisure activities.
Working to meet the unique needs of the client by following their individualized care plans and helping them achieve their defined goals.
Our ‘must haves’
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain.)
Provide First Aid certificate – less than 12 months old (we can help you here if not!)
Our ‘nice to haves’
Experience in a similar role – either within disability or aged Care Support
A positive attitude (makes a huge difference!)
A Certificate III in a relevant discipline
