The roleChallenge Community Services is currently looking for a motivated and dynamic Carer Compliance Officer to join our team. This role will involve Carer Reviews, Carer Recruitment and Training.
The Carer Compliance role is responsible for ensuring that Challenge remains compliant with the internal and external requirements relating to Foster Carers. As part of this role you will be responsible for conducting regular reviews to ensure that our carers are supported in the development of their skills, maintaining and updating compliance databases and the NSW Carers Register and supporting potential foster carers to understand the journey they are about to embark on and ensure that they meet all requirements to become authorised with Challenge Foster Care. In addition to conducting carer reviews and ensuring compliance, you will also assist in delivering Shared Lives training, assess potential placement options for children and young people needing a safe home, and arrange and facilitate a range of foster care activities including; information sessions, community events, morning tea and carer engagement events.
