CatholicCare NT is a Catholic social service agency established in the Diocese of Darwin. We provide services throughout the NT, including service centres in Darwin, Palmerston, Malak, Tiwi Islands, Daly River, Wadeye, Jabiru, Maningrida, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa, Titjikala, Finke and APY lands.
The Community Development Program (CDP) provides intensive case management support to address the needs of Aboriginal people seeking work, providing opportunities that lead to positive social and economic outcomes for families and community.
About the role
The Community Development Program (CDP) Administration Officer position is responsible for undertaking general administration support and reception duties under the direction of the Team Leader. This position has a particular focus on supporting Case Managers and Team Leaders by engaging in general administration duties, submitting comments in the CDP IT system, maintaining CDP Electronic Filing system, submitting applications for Job Seeker identification and other work-related licences and maintain regular communication with Job Coach, Mentors and Team Leader Quality and Compliance and Team Leader Case Management.
What we are looking for
- No formal qualifications are required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to engage with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people.
- Demonstrate ability to use technology including intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, Word, Outlook, and other electronic database systems.
