We are currently seeking applications for a Change Management and Enablement Lead, to join the Digital Investment Fund team at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of 12 months.
Remuneration: ASO8 – Salary Range ($119,317 - $123,822 p.a.).

As part of the 2023-24 State Budget, a $200 million Digital Investment Fund was established to drive more strategic and targeted investment in digital initiatives across the South Australian public sector and provide the capacity to upgrade legacy ICT systems that present significant risk to the state. The Department of Treasury and Finance is building out the framework required to efficiently operate the Fund, in parallel with progressing the priority initiatives identified to date. A small, focussed team of specialist resources is being established within the department to establish and then operate and administer the Fund.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Digital Investment Fund, the Change Management and Enablement Lead will be a key contributor to effectively establish the Digital Investment Fund within the Department of Treasury and Finance. The role will deliver expert advice and develop a Change Management and strategic stakeholder engagement plan to effectively engage key stakeholders for the Digital Investment Fund and on other critical statewide digital initiatives.
Where required the Change Management and Engagement Lead will also assist other state government agencies to deliver initiatives through the Fund including the design and implementation of their specific change programs, to help ensure successful outcomes for these in-flight initiatives. About you Working under broad direction, you will be highly organised, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and have significant experience in Change Management and communications in a high performing ICT or digital project environment.
To be successful you will be:
- Experienced in providing high quality briefings, expert written advice and reports with the recommendations for consideration by senior executives.
- Highly experienced in providing change and communications related project artefacts and outcomes for major and/or critical programs.
- Experienced in building and maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships at all levels to achieve desired program outcomes.
- Able to exercise independent judgement in analysing and conceptualising problems, formulating solutions and negotiating success outcomes.
- Able to work independently, under broad direction.
