We are partnering with a major state government department in a search for a Change Manager to engage in a contract until June of 2024. In this role, you will be responsible for providing diverse support services to ensure the smooth implementation of organizational change during the adoption of new information systems.
In this role you will:
- Providing essential support for business and organizational change, collaborating closely with Change Director, Project Directors, and Project Managers.
- Applying a structured change management methodology to guide and streamline the transition process, ensuring it aligns with project goals.
- Taking the lead in planning and delivering project communication, and conducting in-depth stakeholder analysis to develop effective engagement strategies and plans.
- Crafting comprehensive strategies, plans, and risk mitigation approaches to address change impacts and potential resistance, while also overseeing user readiness and transition strategies.
- Defining success metrics, continually monitoring change progress, and addressing issues that may arise during deployment to ensure the smooth execution of change initiatives.
- Over 5 years of experience in change management roles, with expertise in creating and implementing structured change methodologies.
- Proven experience in developing digital training materials in dynamic software development environments.
- A track record of successful contribution to complex ICT projects through effective communication strategies and plans.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering ICT projects that entail substantial business transformation.
- Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills for engaging with end users and working within diverse project teams.
- Travel may be a requirement for this position as the role may involve working at various locations.
