About the Role
Ventia have an opportunity for an experienced Change Manager within our D&SI (Defence & Social Infrastructure) Business Improvement team. This is a newly created role and will play a pivotal role in navigating and implementing change initiatives around performance and our projects, including changes related to business systems and processes.
This position will suit an applicant who enjoys working on greenfield type projects and wanting to own and shape the Business Improvement process.
The role requires a combination of strategic planning, project management, and exceptional communication skills to guide, support, and facilitate change in alignment with the Sector's strategic objectives.
This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, but we will consider part-time applicants and we are offering flexible working conditions. The role is based in Cremorne, Victoria, but also open to any of the states of Australia and New Zealand.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans.
- Analyse the impact of proposed changes on the respective Project teams and the broader organisation.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align change initiatives with business strategy.
- Engage with key stakeholders at all levels to drive awareness, understanding, and support for change initiatives.
- Develop and deliver targeted communication plans to facilitate effective change messaging.
- Coordinate with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of change initiatives
- Monitor and report on the progress of change projects, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect change project scope, quality and timelines.
- Develop and facilitate training programs for staff to adapt to new systems and processes.
About You
You will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Change Management, or a related field with extensive experience in Change Management ideally in a Finance or Corporate environment.
You will also possess:
- Strong leadership and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Due to contractual requirements, you will need to be an Australian Citizen and be able to undertake a police check and medical.
