About the opportunity:
Kinetic IT are hiring a Change Manager to join our team. This opportunity will assist us in preparing customer crew and our own crew for new or changed processes, technologies, practices, organisational structure, and systems, to improve speed of adoption, mitigate any negative impacts to both crew and customers.
The Change Manager will be directly responsible for the effective delivery of change involving an Essential 8 security project. Essential 8 implements a series of security controls which restricts the existing way of working. The Change Manager will build capacity to enable others in leadership, project, and SME’s role to play their part in leading change and facilitate a new way of working to allow for technical implementations to occur.
Keen to get involved? You’ll just need some of the following:
- 3 – 5 years of experience as a Change Manager with experience delivering enterprise IT projects utilising change management methodology, process and tools for change, to create and execute a change strategy and plan which drives adoption of the change
- Ability to partner with the relevant project/program manager, sponsors, and leadership teams to activate key roles in leading and executing change in line with the project and change plans.
- Experience in developing change management plans and design, develop or contribute to artefacts or interventions to enable specialist SMEs and leaders in executing communications, training, sponsor activation and resistance management.
- Proven ability and experience in conducting stakeholder analysis and articulating impact of proposed changes, assess change readiness and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Monitoring the health of the change project and identifying any course corrections or actions required in executing the change.
- Ability to communicate and liaise with internal stakeholders, such as technical and leadership teams to ensure alignment with change priorities.
- Ability to collaborate with team members, end users, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to continuously improve the organisations service, solutions, and experience.
- Creating and monitoring metrics for effectiveness and highlighting training opportunities to improve outcomes.
- Desirable but not necessary experience with Essential 8 and change management experience delivering Cyber Security projects.
