As a Chef De Partie, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking high-quality food in the kitchen
- Ability to run all sections in the kitchen.
- Ensuring that all food is cooked to the required standards and presented beautifully
- Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficiency in the kitchen
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
- Ability to order stock and manage inventory.
- Waste reduction and monitoring
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Prior experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role
- Experience in a la carte, function and events but grill station is highly regarded.
- Knowledgeable & practice existing WHS guidelines & have a strong understanding of Food Safety, Food product, HACCP & Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to prioritise, organise and work well under pressure and contribute to a high integrity work culture
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious cuisine
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
- A positive, can-do attitude
- A flexible approach to working hours and an ability to work shifts and weekends as required
