Chief Financial Officer

This Central West based organisation is a leader in their field, operating with innovation and care for their people at front of mind. Reporting to the CEO, this role is a unique chance to step in to either an interim 6 month contract or permanent Chief Financial Officer (CFO role) and make a real difference.

As a qualified and experienced finance professional you will be able to quickly step in and manage all aspects of this organisation’s financial position. Managing a high functioning team, you will oversee practical accounting responsibilities through to having strategic input on important matters. This role helps to evaluate financial performance and improve businesses process, all whilst operating in a friendly and collegiate team environment of dedicated professionals.

This role is broadly responsible for:

• Planning, implementing and managing the delivery of finance services and strategy
• Direct and manage all finance functions including funding and investment proposals
• Forecasting, budgeting, allocations and financial analysis
• Provide financial input on relevant project for CEO and other stakeholders
• Meet risk compliance and efficiency requirements including managing key business and customer relationships. Ensure financial statutory requirements are met.
• Manage loans, banking arrangements, investment portfolios and reserves

  
To be successful in this role you will have an Accounting degree qualification coupled with either CA or CPA current membership, and located in Central West NSW. You will have worked in senior finance leader roles preparing budgets, financial statements, long term financial plans and more. You are a skilled communicator, able to articulate finance concepts to senior executives and key stakeholders. Experience managing a team is essential as is the capacity to inspire and motivate. You must have a current class c drivers licence and be able to pass a criminal record check.
