Circles of Care Program. We're looking for someone passionate to join our team and work alongside schools and communities, supporting families and children as they adjust to school life.
Circles of Care (Inala) is a school-based model of integrated service delivery currently operating at three primary schools across Inala and Acacia Ridge in Brisbane. Its purpose is to create an early intervention, prevention, school-based portal for seamless access to a comprehensive range of learning and social support services to promote children's positive development. By improving the social and emotional state of students within schools,
Circles of Care increases opportunities for successful outcomes and minimises the risk of children and families entering statutory systems of child safety and youth justice.
Your key responsibilities will be to:- Assist in the identification of at-risk children within the school
- Identify barriers that effect families to access services
- Produce regular reports to be presented to the Program Manager
- Contribute to the development of culturally appropriate community engagement strategies
- Initiate, establish and maintain relationships with key community members and services
Requirements for Success- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in applying for funding from outside organisations
- Experience in providing school-based interventions
- Experience in maintaining data and writing reports
- Relevant degree at tertiary level
- Intermediate computer skills
- Current driver’s license
