The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Manager to join our team managing the service delivery outcomes at one of our key client sites, Mount Ommaney Shopping Centre. You will be an individual who shares our vision for delivering exceptional results for our customers and maintaining a high level of site presentation.
Reporting to our Client Services Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the cleaning performance on site including the day shift, night shift and weekend services. You will be supported by a team of leading hands.
This is a hands-on management role that will suit someone who leads from the front and by example. The right candidate will be available to work occasional weekends and night shifts to support and train your teams.
This position will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the management of site cleaning operations
- Meeting our contractual obligations and pleasing key stakeholders by meeting and exceeding their expectations
- Rostering, payroll, and recruitment of staff
- Training of your teams and empowering them to perform in their roles
- Incident Reporting
- Scheduling of periodicals and ad/hoc works
- Site OHS Compliance including conducting Toolboxes, ensuring SDS & Test and Tagging is current and up to date
- Completing the Daily Site Opening Report
- Conducting site inspections with and without the client addressing areas for improvement with your teams
- Maintaining loop time requirements
- Stock ordering
- Ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures
- Representing My Pathway Facility Services to the client and the general public.
Key Selection Criteria:
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in the cleaning industry) Strong oral and written communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills applicable in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
- High standard of personal presentation
- Personable with excellent customer service attributes and the ability to engage key stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Proven ability to engage and inspire people to deliver their best.
- Exposure to, and knowledge of security and cleaning systems, processes, and methods
- Solid computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office package
