The Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) vision is to empower all people to live fulfilling lives and achieve their potential in inclusive communities with a focus on breaking, rather than managing, disadvantage.
The Housing Contact Centre (HCC) operates 24/7 and employs around 400 staff to provide social housing services to clients in NSW, utilising various channels such as telephone, email and online platforms to cater to our clients' needs effectively.
The role offers a generous salary package and internal career progression, as well as flexible work agreements, including some ability to work remotely from home. Regional NSW candidates are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do
This challenging and rewarding role requires staff to respond to enquiries from Housing NSW clients and members of the public and provide accurate and appropriate information about Housing NSW products and services, as well as those offered by key stakeholders. Additionally, staff will process various applications and engage in outbound campaigns.
The role will involve a combination of scheduled remote and office shifts, working across a rotating 24/7 roster.
What we're looking for
Experience in providing exceptional customer service to vulnerable and diverse clients
Excellent computer navigations skills and the ability to work between multiple screens and data bases
Contact Centre experience is desirable but not essential
Dedication to continuous learning through both in-person and virtual training
A fully functional, private and secure work from home office
Commitment to attend scheduled team meetings at our Liverpool office
Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
