The Opportunity

Our Clinical Nurse Educators are core to HenderCare’s developmental division, and we’re looking for an innovative and engaging individual to join our team. 

As experienced nurse practitioners, we provide the support and development opportunities for our nursing staff to critically approach new and existing challenges in contemporary healthcare, be well equipped to adapt to the ever-present changes of the modern world and be focussed on providing exceptional and fundamental care to our service recipients.

About the Role

As the Clinical Nurse Educator, you will contribute to developing and delivering continuing team member learning and development requirements, such as health support training (medication and Assessments), first aid, manual handling, and inductions. 

The role may include, as required, assistance in the assessment and development of complex care plans and the credentialing of team members to deliver complex care services.

About You

We are looking for innovative and passionate people who show a strong commitment to high-quality learning, training, and assessment. You will maintain current clinical practice approaches informed by evidence-based research and innovative practices to deliver relevant and updated curricula.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience as a clinical educator (or similar role)
  • Demonstrated experience in content development, learning facilitation, and assessment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills, exercise initiative, and manage competing priorities
  • Strong computer literacy skills and the ability to adapt to new platforms

You are required to show completion of relevant tertiary education and qualifications, be AHPRA registered, and be a Division 1 Registered Nurse.

Candidates will only be considered if they have completed a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
