A SCHADS 7 opportunity for a Senior Practitioner to step into a leadership position in Townsville
Your new company
Your new company is a leading community services provider that runs a variety of important social programs across the region to support vulnerable people within our local community. They have an opportunity for a Practice Manager to join their team in Townsville.
Your new role
Provide practice supervision and professional development to improve professional skills.
Liaise with program managers regarding professional practice and staff skill development.
Offer supervision to provisionally registered psychologists
Understand and adhere to ethical and professional requirements.
Research and create evidence-based frameworks for best practice.
Maintain precise supervisory records.
Engage in staff performance processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Hold a tertiary qualification in psychology or social work.
Possess at least five years of experience in the social or community services sector.
Extensive experience in providing professional supervision.
Ability to model and foster strong professional ethics and technical skills amongst staff.
Demonstrated understanding of various therapeutic interventions for children, individuals, families, and couples.
Competently apply these interventions in supervisory work, including managing complex cases and assessing risks related to child safety and domestic violence.
Possess a valid Driver's Licence.
Eligible for both a Disability Worker Screening and a Working with Children Blue Card
What you'll get in return
SCHADS 7 remuneration package ($110k-$115k + super)- 0.69 FTE
