Our clinic has operations in two locations: Benowa, Gold Coast and Tugan, Gold Coast. While the primary location for this position is Benowa, occasional travel to Tugan may be necessary when needed. The role will include management of both sites.
About you:
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. You will have the ability to utilise your skills and experiences to help us build a successful and supportive medical practice.
As the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice and achieving the business objectives set by the Practice Owners.
In this role, you will be required to understand the legal and ethical obligations of running a medical practice, and a desire to achieve excellence in healthcare through reviewing and implementing processes to increase efficiency within the practice.
You will receive support from the practice owners, clinical, and collaboratively work with the administrative team to achieve the desired business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact courteously and effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
- Proficiency in computer skills and experience with medical software systems (e.g., Gentu)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks.
- Ability to efficiently task shift and prioritise tasks in a fast-paces environment.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration.
- The ability to show compassion and support to team members.
- Demonstrate passion to help shape and drive culture in the workplace.

Key attributes of a successful candidate:
- Have a minimum 2 years’ proven Practice Management or Business Management experience
- Qualifications in Business Management or Practice Management experience
- Strong project management and coordination skills, including reporting to business stakeholders
- Knowledge of Best Practice Management Software (desirable)
- Be a member of AAPM (desirable)
- Knowledge of Gentu Software (desirable)
- Current CPR certificate (desirable)
