An important component of this care is the Clinical Trial/Research activities we participate in, which enable us to offer forthcoming diagnostic and investigational treatments to our patients. Our research is forging the way forward for the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma. The Unit conducts clinical trials and cohort studies, and is a participating member of both National and International Clinical Trials Groups, incorporating both industry sponsored and investigator driven studies. In early 2024 the newly built Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre (part of Alfred Health) will proudly be the home of the Victorian Melanoma Service.Position SummaryAs a member of a research team, the Clinical Research Nurse will, under supervision, have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department.
