Clinical Research Nurse - Victorian Melanoma Service

The Victorian Melanoma Service provides co-ordinated multidisciplinary management for adult patients with melanoma. An important component of this care is the Clinical Trial/Research activities we participate in, which enable us to offer forthcoming diagnostic and investigational treatments to our patients. Our research is forging the way forward for the diagnosis and treatment of melanoma. The Unit conducts clinical trials and cohort studies, and is a participating member of both National and International Clinical Trials Groups, incorporating both industry sponsored and investigator driven studies. In early 2024 the newly built Paula Fox Melanoma and Cancer Centre (part of Alfred Health) will proudly be the home of the Victorian Melanoma Service.
Position Summary
As a member of a research team, the Clinical Research Nurse will, under supervision, have responsibility for the delivery of direct and indirect care and associated data collection for concurrent research studies undertaken in the department. Please refer to the full position description for further detail. This position is for a 12 mth contract commencing in late February 2024. We welcome applications to be part of this exciting team.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years post graduate nursing demonstrating the appropriate competencies and skills for the job and clinical setting
- Evidence of further education/continuous professional development
- Obtain and maintain GCP training/qualifications as required
