The Clinical Trials Research Assistant supports the Clinical Trials Coordinators (CTC) to successfully implement protocols, while satisfying recruitment and contractual targets. Society’s access to Clinical Trials is enhanced by the administrative and clinical activities they skillfully perform.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Conduct participant visits to assist CTC and medical investigators with implementation of study protocols
- Complete data entry within specified terms in the contract, and report your results at the weekly team meeting
- During specified times of recruitment activities, contribute to participant enrolment by successfully booking at least one screening per session
- Keep investigator site files up to date, ensuring all paperwork is filed accurately and efficiently prior to each monitoring visit, eliminating the need for follow-up actions requested by the CRA

- Computer literate in MS word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility between the hours of 0800 and 1700
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
- Tertiary qualification in Science, or Nursing,
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or appropriate work visa
- Current AHPRA Registration if applicable
