This company is looking to hire a CNC Machinist for a full-time basis for their West Melbourne newly renovated workshop.
Your new role
In your new role as a CNC Machinist, you will be manufacturing rotating equipment in accordance with the detail drawings and specifications. As a specialist you will be able to program, set and operate lathes and mills and perform basic maintenance of CNC equipment. You need to possess good time management skills and be able to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working experience with CNC machines
- Fitter and Turner trade qualification or equivalent
- Good experience in precision machining
- Able to program, set and operate CNC lathes and mills
- Experience in LB3000, LB4000 and MU400 is preferable
- Experience in servicing mechanical seals is desirable
- Strong communication skills – customer focused
- Strong time management skills – capable of achieving objectives and delivering results
