Collections Officer / Credit Control

THE ROLE

Our growing business has an opportunity for a highly motivated Collections Officer.

In this role, you will be responsible for loan book management, including ensuring customer loans are actively managed and going through collection and recovery processes. This important work requires strong communication skills and ability to problem-solve in line with SaleFunder’s policies, processes, and commercial objectives.

Reporting to the COO you will work within a flat structure with a start-up vibe and with a team of fun colleagues. You will gain wide exposure to the business, finance and real estate industries. The right person will have the opportunity for rapid advancement to Collections Manager as we are growing rapidly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing and collecting debts
• Negotiating payment plans
• Responding to client enquiries
• Preparing and sending invoices
• Customer collection calls
• Work with legal team on recoveries
• Escalating collection issues to management

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• MUST have previous collections experience
• Consumer collections experience preferably.
• Legal recovery an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
• Professional telephone manner with outstanding communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights.
