AddressFollowing significant growth a large scale multinational business operating in the property and construction business is seeking a Commercial Accountant to join their high quality accounting team. The role will suit an ambitious candidate with 2-4 years experience looking to move to an industry leading business. It will also make an excellent first move from public practice into commerce.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Monthly reporting including GL posting, journals, reconciliations
- Management of the fixed assets register
- Capex management and forecasting
- Management of the Asset finance leasing register
- Liaising with senior operational leaders providing support and guidance
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with audit requirements
- Ad hoc reconciliations, analysis and reporting
Your experience and skills:
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Strong accounting knowledge and able to apply relevant accounting standards (AASB/IFRS)
- 2-4 years accounting experience
- Strong teamworking, numerical and communication skills
- A genuine desire to learn and grow.
