As part of your new role, you will be responsible for all the financial functions of the business unit in Australia and International, from Inhouse accounting functions to Group Level Management reporting. You will also have two (2) x direct reports. This role will also seek to develop new and better ways of working and reporting to maximise controls and positive fiscal impacts and decision making as the company drives through a changing and growth phase of its evolution.
Other aspects that the role will develop, oversee and manage will be but not limited to:
- Strategic Accounting - Review and Audits
- Full P&L Management and Reporting
- Payroll / ERP - EPICOR
- Procurement / Supplier Management / Contract Negotiations
- Tender / Proposal Development and Input
- Project and Cash Flow Forecasting
- Cost Management / Debtor Management
- Compliance reporting / Management
Working closely with the General Manager (Direct report) and Operations Team you will be responsible and involved in the commercial strategy and strategic financial development for the business, you will ensure continued development of systems and process’ within the business and be involved in the business's strategic direction from a commercial and operational perspective.
What We Need from You
To be successful in this role, you will be a true Commercial and Finance professional with a proven management approach and operational experience in the manufacturing sector. Your excellent communication and people skills will see you building relationships and stakeholder management, from Group C-Suite level down to the site / production level. You will also have an energetic and positive attitude towards working in an ever changing and dynamic environment.
Other factors which will see you succeed in this role:
- Degree in Finance / Commerce / CA / CPA
- Proven experience of working in a similar /same role with Commercial Control
- Operational experience in Manufacturing / Similar Sectors
