Organisational growth has created an opportunity for a Commercial Manager – Bonds Interstate Services to join our growing team. The position can be located in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne, depending on the suitable candidate.
The Opportunity
As a Commercial Manager, you will spend a lot of your time on the road and be responsible for:
- Generating new business customers for Bonds Interstate Services.
- Prospecting for new clients from our existing Bonds Transport Client Portfolio and working with the existing Bonds Sales team to promote Bonds Interstate services.
- Achieving annual "new" business sales targets.
- Managing existing customers and being an escalation point for Client Coordinators.
- Working with our Operations Manager to identify new carriers and negotiate best rates and services for our customers.
- Meeting and exceeding KPIs associated with growing our local, interstate and intrastate division.
- Effectively performance manage direct reports.
- Acting as a contact for service and operational based queries relating to new business.
- Central point of contact for awarded new business within your portfolio.
- Provision of regular reporting relating to sales activity.
- Participating in tenders and RFP’s providing sales analysis.
- Working independently and collaboratively with the wider Bonds team.
- Participating in weekly and monthly team meetings as required.
- Positively contributing to the organisation's culture by acting responsibly and in the best interest of Bonds.
