Role Description
We are looking for preferably a full-time Lawyer to join our team. This is a role located in our offices in Mornington. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and services to our clients on SMSF and related trust deed reviews and a variety of commercial matters, along with some litigation files. There is the opportunity to develop your skills with mentoring alongside an experienced practice principal. The role would suit both a 1st-year lawyer looking to gain knowledge and experience or a more experienced lawyer looking for a variety of work in a more relaxed environment.
There will be a defined career path available to the successful applicant.
Qualifications and prerequisites:
- Strong knowledge of commercial law and legal principles
- Knowledge of superannuation laws and SMSFs would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in law
- Experience in a similar role
Salary to be negotiated, commensurate with experience.
