Commercial Manager - Industrial Sales & Grain Procurement

An opportunity currently exists for a talented and experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in Macquarie Park. The Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving commercial success through effective business partnering with our Industrial Sales and Grain Procurement teams. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance and FP&A, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives and contribute to the growth and profitability of our business.

Key accountabilities include:

• Collaborate closely with the Industrial Sales and Grain Procurement teams to provide insights and support in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities.
• Analyse Industrial Sales performance, market trends, and Grain Procurement data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement.
• Lead the development and management of pricing proposals with customers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer satisfaction.
• Manage pricing models and agreements with key customers, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and profitability.
• Partner with the Grain Procurement team to develop and execute procurement strategies that ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of grains.
• Supervise and mentor a team member, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. 

The successful applicant will possess:

• Proven experience in business partnering, preferably in the FMCG sector within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and Grain Procurement information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build rapport with customers and suppliers.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
