Job Description
As Commercial Manager your key responsibility will be driving the financial performance of a key operations portfolio. The role supports the business with financial and commercial analysis, business cases, strategy execution and decision making. You will play an active role in driving reviews of organisational performance to develop and execute clear strategies & recommendations to target the most significant sources of profitable growth for the business.
Key responsibilities will include the following:

• Developing financial and commercial analysis, business cases, strategy execution and decision making.
• Development of financial plans including budgets and forecasts for the short and long term.
• Analysis of business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and cost of goods sold with the objective of providing insight and advice.
• Interpret operating results as they affect the financial position of the business and make recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.
• Partner with the operational leadership teams to develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve the strategic outcomes for the business.
• Develop effective, collaborative working relationships with all key stakeholders to drive financial performance.

The Successful Applicant

• CPA or CA Qualified
• Strong commercial awareness, strategy development & execution including business case preparation, business acumen and business partnering skills, with a track record of driving revenue & margin performance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a track record of supporting and partnering with sales.
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data from multiple sources.
• Strong business presentation and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
