About the role:
The Communications Advisor is responsible for executing our corporate and internal communications plan, which encompasses Wesfarmers Health's growing portfolio of businesses.
You'll partner with business units to develop strategic communications campaigns that leverage our communication channels and tactics to build resonance and connection with our people.
You'll play a pivotal role in organising, maintaining and producing content for our communications channels and tactics.
Ultimately, your communications will help connect our people to the Wesfarmers Health strategy and engage them in our transformation.
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Business partnering:
- Partner with Wesfarmers Health business units to develop strategic communications campaigns to drive internal alignment.
Key channels and content lead:
- Develop events and content calendars for Corporate & Internal Communications activities
- Be the product owner and main content developer for channels including Wesfarmers Health intranet and LinkedIn
- Manage and produce internal eDMs, e.g. all staff weekly newsletter
- Manage Town Hall (in-person and virtual) execution
- Produce video content as required.
Support key tactics:
- Support key projects and tactics as required, e.g. Senior Leadership Team conferences/forums
- Provide administration support as required
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years' experience in corporate affairs, communication, public relations or marketing, including experience working with senior leaders
- Bachelor Degree or higher in business/commerce, law, communications, public relations or marketing (desired)
- Experience within diverse, complex organisations, preferably in the health, retail and/or franchised sectors
- Understanding of communications and influencing strategies, and experience in executing strategic plans
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes
- Creative and energetic, with a ‘can do' attitude
- Curious, with an innate desire and ability to identify and share ‘good news stories'
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Project management skills, excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail.
