We are looking for a skilled Communications Officer to join our Sydney-based Marketing team on a permanent part-time basis.

About the Role:
- Writing and disseminating external and internal communications and marketing material that promotes the Christian faith and the values and work of Morling College.
- Collaborate with Heads of Department to develop and implement effective communication strategies that are based on a faculty’s target audience.
- The role is 30.4 hours/week (0.8 FTE).
- Remuneration: $53,813.04/annum, excluding Superannuation.

Qualifications:
- Experience in similar roles involving communications and/or a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field.
- Formal qualification in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field desired.
Experience and Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics tools.
- Highly computer literate with capabilities in email, MS Office, and other related business and communication tools.
- Content writing experience for all media platforms.
- Proven strong copywriting skills.
- Previous experience in the Higher Education sector and/or complex organisations desired.
- Previous experience with MC’s key stakeholder groups, including churches, schools, counselling, chaplaincy, and spiritual care organisations desirable.
- Experience with content management systems and social media platforms advantageous.
