Providing strategic and operational advice and support across a variety of business areas will keep you on your toes in this role.
Designing and delivering audience focussed communications that are easy to understand and accessible to all will be a big part of your day.
This is an opportunity to work with a local government using your proven expertise to develop and deliver communications plans and campaigns across a range of channels and answer regular media enquiries.
Your work days will be varied with no two days being the same in this unique role - from researching and writing media releases to filming, editing and sharing a video on social media.
You will have:
- degree in communications, marketing, media or a related field
- extensive knowledge of social media
- demonstrated experience in contemporary communications and public relations methods and practices
- extensive understanding of media management and contemporary media landscape
- demonstrated competence using Adobe Creative Suite
