Job DescriptionWorking within our
Climate Change and Sustainability teams, this full time contract role is based in our Melbourne CBD office and is responsible for content development and delivery of
Climate Change and Sustainability related communications, internally and externally.
- Preparation of quality content (scripts, infographics, presentations, submissions etc) and guidance on climate related communications.
- Building and adapting the BlueScope narrative on Climate Change
- Building and maintaining climate stakeholder strategy and engagement plans in collaboration with the business
- Ensuring reputational Risk and Issue management plans are in place and liaising with Climate, Sustainability, Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs teams
- Strategic impact is high; function has the potential to significantly affect the impact of the threats and opportunities due to Climate Change challenges and shifting environments.
QualificationsAs a Communications professional you will have deep experience in stakeholder understanding and management, while manage multiple projects across
Climate Change and sustainability.
You will also have:- Tertiary qualifications in Communications or related field
- Outstanding writing/ editorial/digital content skills
- Issue and crisis planning and management experience
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Climate Change
- Experienced networker and influencer through all comms channels.
- Knowledge of Tangelo highly regarded
- Experience within mining, energy, heavy industry, renewables or government backgrounds advantageous.
