About the Role
As the Community Engagement Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving strategic communication and engagement initiatives for our property projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of projects by providing expert advice on community consultation, internal communication, and issues management
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement and communication strategies for our property projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including local councils, communities, and media outlets, to facilitate effective communication and engagement
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team to develop website, social media, and internal communication plans, delivering engaging content across various channels
- Proactively identify and address emerging issues and contentious matters, offering strategic guidance for their resolution and management
- Execute communication plans for high-profile, complex, or sensitive projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
- Support the Policy and Corporate Affairs team by aligning your activities with the broader organisational strategy and objectives
- You have demonstrated ability to devise and implement communication and stakeholder engagement strategies for property development projects
- Your strong writing skills enable you to translate complex information into accessible content
- Proficient in issue management, you have experience in maintaining strong stakeholder relationships
- Previous experience in government roles is preferable but not essential
