About the position
You will work alongside our Compliance Manager to implement, maintain and develop compliance frameworks, systems and processes enabling ESSSuper to meet its compliance obligations in line with industry standards and legislation.
This will involve:
- Interpreting and documenting regulatory requirements and applying those changes to business processes;
- Developing and maintaining a robust policy management process;
- Investigating and reporting incidents alongside the Compliance Manager;
- Support the cultivation of a compliance culture by facilitating workshops and targeted training;
- Contribute to and prepare a range of reports, briefings, presentations and policies;
- Completing compliance audits
In this newly created role, you will be working within our Legal, Risk and Compliance team and supporting a broad group of stakeholders across our organisation.
We’re looking for applications from candidates who have:
- Demonstrated ability to organise their work to meet deadlines and delivery high quality work under time pressure;
- Prior work experience in a compliance role within a professional or financial services organisation
- Exceptional written communication skills with evidenced ability to gather information from disparate source and present it professionally for a discerning audience;
- A strong appreciation of the importance of compliance in a superannuation setting;
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills suited to supporting the furtherance of ESSSuper’s healthy compliance culture; and,
- Current RG146 accreditation and bachelor's degree in commerce, economics or similar would be beneficial.
