ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Construction Administrators work as a team with our Construction and Project Managers to coordinate the end to end fit-out of our projects. The role is suited to someone with experience in project related coordination or high volume administration.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Ensuring all building permits, centre inductions/set up are completed
- Setting up of site folders with specific site plans and OHS requirements
- Uploading site plans, input data and costing into Procore
- Updating Cost-Trackers through-out project lifecycle
- Liaising with contractors and supervisors as required
- Booking in site teams travel requirements
- Working closely with Construction and Project Managers to assist on ad hoc duties as required
This vacancy is suitable to any recent Construction graduate or administrative wizard keen to enter the Construction Industry.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Training and mentoring will be provided to successful in the role, however some desirable attributes include:
- Previous experience with Procore (desirable, not essential)
- Relevant experience in a construction or building administration-based role (desirable, not essential)
- Knowledge or previous experience working with construction permits and OHS requirements (desirable, not essential)
- Professional customer service
- Ability to work well within a team
- A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Experience utilising Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Time Management and organisational skills to work towards deadline orientated projects
