What's on offer?
The Eight Homes team is looking to employ an enthusiastic a Construction Manager focused on providing training and support to their Construction team, forecasting of monthly
budget data, management of trade labour pool, liaising with Operations teams to improve design and build process and ensure safety standards are met.
Within this role your responsibilities would include:
- Provide training and coaching for members and through monitoring and support of team and individual performance.
- Forecast and monitor regional monthly budget including claims, settlements, and ETOs and liaise with Supervisors to optimise build efficiency.
- Monitor and update job status and adjust forecasts, as required.
- Ensure claims are updated for processing.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with supplier and trade partners acting as an escalation point for Supplier or Trade Labour performance.
- Monitor and align trade and supplier allocation and performance to optimise build efficiency and quality.
- Review forecast site starts to plan and allocate resources accordingly.
- Monitor job progress and ensure contractual obligations and building standards are met or exceeded.
- Liaise with team to identify and resolve site issues.
- Monitor, manage and minimise ETOs.
- Review and resolve escalated client issues quickly and efficiently.
- Review client feedback and work with managers and Supervisors to identify and implement improvements.
Who are we looking for?
- Residential construction leadership experience
- Good knowledge of construction principles and processes, and a focus on quality customer service
- Strong coaching and leadership skillsets
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel), CRMs, databases
