About the role
Due to our ever growing operations throughout Geelong, we currently have an outstanding opportunity for a results driven Construction Manager with medium density construction / Townhomes experience in building on time and on budget to join our fantastic Glenvill Homes Townhomes Team. You will be primarily responsible for our Site Supervisors building our quality homes throughout Geelong and the surrounding area.
You will be responsible for:
- Monthly / Weekly site inspection
- Ensure your Site Supervisors portfolio's are built on quality, time and budget.
- Facilitate construction meetings with your team
- Analysis of site spend and value
- Provide feedback to drafting /scheduling, sales, administration and accounts
- High level experience with Australian Building Codes, safely and in time parameters.
- Display a high level of Leadership
- Ensure all conditions on the Building Contract are met from a build perspective
- Report on job progress, status and future programs
- Promote and maintain safe work protocols
Be a Positive Leader and remain focused amidst challenges and distractions
Skills and experience

We anticipate that you will possess:
- proven experience in supervising medium density or townhomes (essential) - 3-5 years
- exceptional communication skills
- demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills
- a strong customer focus, the ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach
- Ability to interpret building plans, engineers reports and specifications
- Professional relationships
- Positive attitude, highly organised and target driven
- Excellent time management skills
- ability to use basic computer operating systems and operating software
- the capability to build rapport across all levels of the business
- a current driver's licence is a requirement for this role.
- Trade Background (HIGHLY REGARDED)
- not afraid to get your hands dirty
Beyond that, you are reliable, detail oriented, considerate and demonstrate a genuine understanding of teamwork.
