As a key member of our marketing team, you will be working closely with the marketing manager, playing a crucial role in shaping our brand's online presence and engaging with our diverse audience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend forecasting to ensure our content strategies remain innovative and aligned with market dynamics and audience preferences.
- Design and layout content for the organization's monthly newsletter.
- Collaborate with the marketing manager and graphic designer to develop marketing materials and maintain consistent branding across various channels.
- Create creative and engaging content for social media platforms, working closely with the internal social media team.
- Develop content and social media strategies for the business.
- Write important internal and external communications.
- Monitor social media campaigns and analyze analytics.
- Innovate new approaches to engage our target audiences on social media, including developing and executing a content calendar across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, as well as producing compelling video content through shooting and editing.
- Coordinate with media and digital agencies to implement social campaigns and establish best-practice local strategies within global guidelines.
- Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize online visibility and expand reach.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role, showcasing the ability to seamlessly 'hit the ground running.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Assist the Marketing Manager in developing, executing, and evaluating innovative digital marketing plans that align with the business growth strategy.
- Exceptional personal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing effective social media strategies.
- Confidence in analyzing and reporting on content performance, utilizing insights to enhance future strategies.
- Superior proofreading and editing proficiency.
- Comprehensive understanding of brand tone of voice and associated guidelines.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational and geographic boundaries, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Proactive mindset with keen attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in computer skills.
- Experience in writing media releases and managing media relationships.
- Knowledge of the Automobile/Caravan Industry is advantageous.
- Background in outdoor, travel, or remote travel adventures, as well as print magazine production management, aligning well with our brand's ethos and target audience.
