The Role:
Our demonstrable success with leading brands has facilitated this opportunity to grow our Melbourne team in our Wheelers Hill office. As such, we are looking for experienced and motivated individuals who can hit the ground running.
Our pipeline of work means that we are hiring a proficient Contract Administrator to work across a range of sectors. Specifically, our areas of expertise are:
- Commercial
- Infrastructure
- Retail
- Hospitality
- Petrol & Convenience
- FMGC
As a Contract Administrator at Hurst, you will be expected to assume full responsibility for projects, from feasibility through to completion of contractual obligations. This means ensuring projects are delivered to a high quality while also being within scope and under budget.
The role also requires travel to job sites on occasion so the successful applicant must have a full driver's license and car.
About You:
The right candidate will be self-driven and resourceful, possessing the confidence and experience required to solve problems and make decisions in consultation with the relevant Project and Site Managers.
Candidate requirements also include:
- 3-5 years of experience in a dedicated Contract Administrator role
- Experience in commercial and retail new builds and refurbs
- Ability to work on more than one project at any given time
- Experience with running As Built manual and documentation required for handover
- Ability to run defect management through to the thorough completion of a project
- Track record of delivering contract admin on projects ranging from $1M to $15M
- Proven ability and experience in managing project budgets and budget dissection
- A regard for health and safety measures
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and construction methodology
- Proficiency in Procore
- Competency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project
- Demonstrable leadership and communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently
