About the role:
The Contracts Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the contractual aspects of the construction projects. Working closely with the senior Contract Administrators, project managers, and legal team to ensure that contracts are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in reviewing contracts, subcontracts, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
- Identify and escalate any inconsistencies and or risks within contracts to senior team members for resolution.
- Support the preparation, distribution, and tracking of contract documents, including amendments, change orders, and other contractual correspondence.
- Monitor contract deadlines to ensure timely completion and adherence to contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, procurement teams, and finance departments, to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
- Serve as a point of contact for external parties, subcontractors, and vendors regarding contract inquiries, clarifications, and negotiations.
- Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- A Tertiary or Trade Qualification in a building-related discipline is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, legal terminology, and contract law principles is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
