Form of workNew Contract Administrator position available with a well known WA commercial builder.
TEN Recruitment are working with a WA owned commercial construction company who have an outstanding reputation in the industry with many award-winning projects, ranging from refurbishment to new-build and much more. Due to recent tender success, we are now recruiting an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team on a full time permanent basis.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Project planning – from organisation to planning stages to leading the delivery and execution of the project (up to around $40M value)
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ procedures
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders (including clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors and more)
- Build effective working relationships with and lead project Site Manager and Contract Administrator
- Review of subcontractor agreements and resolve claims /answer questions submitted by subcontractors
- Maintain all up-to-date records relating to the project
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and contractual requirements ensuring project runs to schedule and meets milestones and targets
- Feedback to key stakeholders regards project progress
- Accurately report project costs and revenue to the management team
- Liaise with clients on a regular basis including final handover
To be considered for this role you require:
- Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction projects
- Tertiary qualifications in construction and/or project management desirable
- Experience using construction management software and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications skills
- A keen eye for detail
- Fantastic problem solving skills and able to work to deadlines in a high pressure environment
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working for a small to mid-tier builder
- Current driver's license
A salary of $140k to $160k plus super dependent on skills, knowledge and experience level.
