Seeking an experienced Contract Officer to join a Government team in Perth CBD, on a short-term contract

This government health organisation based in Perth, are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Contract Officer to support the Contract Management team. This position will require you to start immediately after a successful interview, working on a short-term contract for 1-2 months + possible extensions.Your new role
As the Contract Officer, you will be responsible for:- Coordinating the full contract management life cycle including procuring, monitoring, evaluating and auditing
- Managing relationships with stakeholders and contractors, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Assist with procurement activities, including tender evaluation for panels
- Maintaining the contract management database, including spreadsheets
- Ensure that assessment processes for policies are being managed in established time frames
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Contract Manager / Officer
- Previous experience working in the public sector would be an advantage
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Fantastic initiative and strong attention to detail
