About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Procurement and Contracts Officer to join the team at the City of Belmont. Reporting to Coordinator Procurement and Contracts you will be responsible for the procurement functions associated with the timely acquisition of relevant goods and services are achieved in a manner that maximise efficiencies and cost effectiveness.
About you:
You will provide an effective and efficient Procurement and Contracts service to the organisation ensuring organisational compliance and have had exposure the following:
- A good understanding of tendering and contract administration.
- Previous exposure to operating with a Procurement / Contract Management computerised reporting and/or management database plus the ability to work with office-based software products, in particular Microsoft Office.
- Well-developed interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- A high attention to detail.
