As we continue to expand our services and reach within Unanderra and beyond, WCG Cleaning is looking for a Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and execution of our contracts, enabling us to maintain our high standards of service and build strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Administrator to join our team. The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for managing the contracts lifecycle, including preparation, negotiation, execution, and monitoring of contracts. This role requires a deep understanding of legal guidelines, contract drafting, negotiation skills, and the ability to work closely with various departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute contracts covering a range of transactions.
- Maintain detailed and organized files for each contract, which includes initial drafts, revisions, signed contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure that contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
- Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal according to the company's interests.
- Serve as a liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in the contracts administration process.
- Provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff.
- Ensure timely review and approval or reconciliation of variations.
- Prepare contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.
- Offer counsel on a variety of legal issues related to contracts.
- Manage record-keeping for all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contracts Manager, or relevant role.
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts.
- Familiarity with accounting procedures.
- Excellent writing skills for crafting contracts and agreements.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
