ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Administrator to work along our skilled Projects Delivery Team for works based across the Pilbara. Our scope of works are currently Earthworks, Rehabilitation, Sustainability & NPI Civil Construction with multiple projects commencing imminently, and others in the pipeline. This is a newly created Role, reporting to our Project Manager and working closely with the in-house Senior Estimator & Engineering Delivery Team.
Our Project Values are ranging from $5mil-$50mil, working mostly on Tier 1 Iron Ore Mine Sites. This role is Permanent Position based in Dunsborough, with some ad-hoc travel required for Client & Site Visits.
DUTIES:
- Involvement in Procurement process; including liaising with the Client and internal stakeholders to obtain job scope and contractual details;
- Working collaboratively with the team; including internal & external stakeholders;
- Negotiating terms of the Contracts, ensuring all contractual obligations are included and adhered to;
- In collaboration with the Senior Estimator with forecasting, cost control processes and strategies, and producing timely & accurate cost analysis to understand the basis of variations for project forecasting & budgeting;
- Responsible for management of current projects Contracts and communicating with stakeholders in relation to any queries or contract compliance issues;
- Building & maintaining new and existing Client relationships;
- Other Contract Admin duties as required
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent in Commerce, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
- 5 years experience in the Commercial Construction industry (Mine Site based Projects) including surveying & estimating, tender process & procurement
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills
- MS Suite experience (Microsoft Excel & Project)
