Position Overview:
As a Contracts Administrator at Urban Infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of contracts throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks related to contract administration, ensuring compliance, and fostering positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee and manage contracts for various construction projects, ensuring adherence to terms, conditions, and timelines.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare, review, and maintain contract documentation. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Bid and Tender Process: Assist in the preparation of bids and tenders, including reviewing contract terms, pricing, and documentation to support successful project acquisition.
- Communication and Coordination: Act as a liaison between Urban Infrastructure, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Facilitate clear communication and coordination to ensure project milestones are met.
- Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs and variations, ensuring accurate reporting and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Dispute Resolution: Work collaboratively to resolve disputes and conflicts in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator in the civil construction industry.
- Relevant degree or certification in Contract Management, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal terms, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite/Projects and Bluebeam
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
