Award-winning developer/builder seeking a Contracts Administrator. Could also suit a multi-storey residential PM who wants to upskill. THE WHAT: With a healthy pipeline of work in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, this client is seeking someone to join their small but collaborative team in their Brisbane office. You will be sharing the office with the Director, General Manager, and Sales Director – it’s not every day you get to rub shoulders with those on the pointy end of decisions. You will be working on a 200 unit luxury residential complex. This project is still in its design phase, so you can have input right from the start. The role will work with the General Manager and will give you exposure to all pieces of the puzzle including development, design, pre-construction, and delivery. Day to day responsibilities will see you: Manage the construction budget Facilitate the subcontractor and construction team RFI’s Organise procurement of all subcontractors and suppliers Prepare cost estimates for feasibility Work as a Project Manager as/when required (with support!) Please note, you will travel to the Sunshine Coast roughly once a week, so the successful candidate will need a degree of flexibility to make this happen. THE THINGS WE NEED: Due to the busy nature of the role, the client is looking for someone who has at least 5 years of CA experience, with some of that time within a multi-storey residential environment. The key information we are looking for includes: 5 years of contracts administration experience Experience with multi-storey residential construction Strong attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously when required A Bachelor of Construction Management or a trade background is preferred, but not essential (if proven knowledge of the construction process and methodology can be demonstrated) Someone who is driven and likes a challenge. No two days will be the same. This role could also suit a Project Manager who has worked on multi-storey residential and is looking to develop their CA skills further.
