About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis to work flexibly from home or from our Burleigh office. As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing sale and purchase files, contributing to the seamless delivery of our legal services.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Provide assistance to Conveyancers and clients, supporting the firm in delivering exceptional legal services.
- Manage new enquiries by obtaining information, providing initial quotes, and ensuring clear communication with potential clients.
- Communicate with various stakeholders including clients, agents, other law firms, and financial institutions, as well as the Land Registry, Mortgage Lenders, and other relevant parties, facilitating smooth transactions and resolving any related queries.
- Arrange successful settlements, assist Conveyancers and solicitors with their files as needed, and ensure clients receive exceptional service from Reid Legal Group.
- Open and close files, archiving, and various other administrative tasks.
- Participate in ongoing training initiatives to enhance skills and stay updated with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating maturity and the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills, dedication to client service, and a positive attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with proven problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 suite and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to streamline processes.
- Experience with PEXA platform and arranging settlements
- Experience with LEAP is an advantage.
